This is my newest game and you’ve guessed it right if you were thinking of tomatoes and stomping on them.

I made this game for around 6 days and right now is up for sponsorship bidding at flashgameslicense.com. The game was not exactly with my plans but I kind of dig into the Meez Contest and plugged in a quick but fun game 2 weeks before the entry submission deadline (7th Sept). The game is actually playable and 100% done although a new extended polish deadline was made (28th Sept) so I have to hold it more and add some new features.

It was a lot of struggle getting to work with the Meez API, to mention that the meez avatars are rendered in 3D plus the limited animation available. Incorporating my own cell shading style with drawing doesn’t look any good with the avatars so I have to make something up that would look nice (see screenshots). Well it is still a good learning experience working with the Meez API and it taught me a lot of new things with regards to coding.

The main game play is very very simple and no need to read any instructions, simply jump and stomp on the tomatoes. Right now there are 2 modes available: classic and rip-raw-rot, both are set to a 60 second timer. Classic is the basic game play, jump on the tomato to stomp and each stomped tomato is 10 points plus if you stomp two or more tomatoes you get an +5 combo points for every 2nd or more tomato. Rip-Raw-Rot is a more challenging game play, now the tomatoes are aging, so green tomatoes first appear after a few while they start turning red then eventually starts becoming rotten. You get 25 points for green tomatoes which require stomping on twice, 10 points for the red and 5 points for the rotten ones. Sounds fun? There will be an additional game mode being worked on but due to it, I have to alter my classes a little bit to support them.
